G.E.M. Lifetime Guarantee
Effective 02/01/2026 Zion Outdoors provides the following 3-Part Limited Lifetime Guarantee to the purchaser of Zion Outdoor’s Gem-Scape™ concrete overlay products as long as the original purchaser remains in the home.
Guaranteed Lifetime Bond
Gem-Scape™ is engineered to bond stronger and last longer than other resurfacing options. We’re so confident in our system that we guarantee the bond between the Gem-Scape™ overlay material and your concrete for life. Owner must notify Zion immediately (within 2 weeks) upon discovery of delamination. Zion will repair the overlay at no cost to you. Delamination due to substrate issues including movement, moisture or expansion/contraction are NOT covered under this guarantee.
Endless Labor Coverage
This limited guarantee covers any defects in the original installation due to labor. Labor is defined as any issues directly related to the installation process. Our team will repair or correct these issues at no cost to you. This guarantee applies only to the original installation.
Maximum Satisfaction Mandate
Zion Outdoors wants your maximum satisfaction for life! If at any time, and for any reason, you decide you are no longer satisfied with your overlay, Zion will credit you 50% of the original purchase price toward a new overlay from Zion.
For example, if you paid $10,000 for your overlay project and want to replace it with a new pattern or color, we will deduct $5,000 from the price of your new overlay project purchase. No additional discounts or current promotional offers will apply at the time of the new purchase. The new overlay project must replace all areas from the original installation. There is no limit to how many times this Guarantee may be used. The 50% credit will be calculated from the original overlay purchase for each claim. Simply call Zion and mention the “Maximum Satisfaction Mandate,” and this credit will be applied toward your new purchase.
How It Works
To request an inspection for service under this guarantee, please contact Zion Outdoors Customer Service by submitting a service request at zionoutdoors.com/warranty or by calling 866-ASK-ZION. If an exact original product or service is no longer available, Zion reserves the right to substitute a similar product or service of equal or greater quality. These limited guarantees give you specific rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
Transferability
The G.E.M. Lifetime Guarantee is transferable to the next homeowner for a one-time fee of 25% of the original purchase price of your Gem-Scape™. Zion Outdoors must be notified in writing, and payment must be received within thirty (30) days of the property transfer. With payment, the owner must include a copy of the title transfer agreement for the home. If both payment and title transfer are not received by Zion within 30 days of the property transfer, any and all guarantees in the overlay will be void as to the new Owner of the property.
Guarantee Activation
- The owner must be present on the final day of installation.
- After completion, the owner must complete a “walk-through” inspection with the installer or via phone with the Installation Coordinator. This ensures the project is completed in accordance with the Contract and any immediate concerns are addressed on-site.
- Zion Outdoor’s Guarantees only become active after the Contract is paid in full, the walk-through inspection is completed, and a certificate of completion is signed.
What’s Not Covered
Zion Outdoor’s Guarantees assume normal and reasonable use of products. They do not cover damages or issues resulting from occurrences beyond the control of Zion Outdoors, including, but not limited to:
- Acts of Nature: Damages caused by floods, earthquakes, or other acts of nature.
- Cracks, color or sealer loss, joint sealant failure. Delamination due to substrate issues including movement, moisture or expansion/contraction of the substrate.
- Drainage: Adequate drainage requires a whole-house drainage system. ZION makes no representation or warranty as to the adequacy of an existing whole-house drainage system.
- Damage resulting from the application or spill of any chemicals, including but not limited to pool chemicals, solvents, cleaners or de-icing agents.
- Damage, including but not limited to scratches, chips, gouges, or deep marks, caused by the impact or dragging of objects such as furniture, grills, tools, or dropped items.
- Damage caused by insects or animals: Including, but not limited to, burrowing underneath surfaces and/or chewing through turf.
- Other: Water main breaks, rips or tears in turf, burning or melting of turf.
Guarantee Voids
Guarantees will be voided if:
- The owner fails to complete the walk-through inspection on the last day of installation.
- Third-Party Alterations: Damages caused by alterations or repairs made by parties other than ZION without written consent.
- Customer Negligence: Damages resulting from neglect, misuse, or for Gem-Scape™ overlays the failure to re-seal the surface every 2 years.
- Homeowner Power Washing – on paver installations this will remove the polymeric sand. On Gem-Scape™ installations must allow a FULL month for the sealer to completely cure before using a pressure washer. Even after full cure, when power washing, use moderate pressure (e.g. 1500 PSI) and a wide-angle tip (e.g. 25-degree) to avoid damaging the surface.
Note: If guarantees are voided, or if the issue is otherwise not covered under the G.E.M. Lifetime Guarantee or Hardscape Workmanship Warranty, Zion Outdoors may refuse to service the project. Rental and commercial properties are NOT covered under the G.E.M. Lifetime Guarantee.
110% Zero-Worry Pledge
Your investment is protected. We will complete your project as expected—or you will get 110% of your money back.
Zion Outdoors is a family-owned and operated business, and we stand behind our products and installations. If, within the first three days of a completed installation, you are not satisfied with our product or quality of work, we will fix or replace items within the contractual obligations, Work Order, and Zion Outdoors standards. If we do not address the issues, you will be entitled to a refund of up to 110%.
How It Works
- During the walk-through inspection, if you find items not completed in accordance with the Work Order, you must immediately create a written “Punch List” of uncompleted items or defects and submit it within three (3) days following installation.
- The Punch List must be sent via email to production@zionoutdoors.com. Verbal statements of items or defects not submitted in writing do not qualify as Punch List Items.
- Zion Outdoors will work diligently to complete all Punch List items within thirty (30) days of notice from you. Once completed and approved by the Owner, the Punch List will be deemed closed. Approval by the Owner shall not be conditioned, delayed or unreasonably withheld.
What’s Not Covered
- Items reported after the 3-day window are not covered under this guarantee but will still be addressed under the G.E.M. Lifetime Guarantee (Gem-Scape™ only) or the Workmanship Warranty (Other hardscape products & Services).
- Gem-Scape™ colors and/or color shading are NOT included with this guarantee. The customer will already have approved the Sample Board prior to the installation of the project
Refund Timeline
- If Punch List items persist for more than 33 days → 10% refund of purchase price
- After 60 days → 25% refund
- After 90 days → 50% refund
- After 120 days → 110% refund
Any refund made to the Owner under this guarantee will constitute a final payment.
Owner agrees to provide access to the property, Monday through Saturday, 8:00am–6:00pm, for Punch List completion. If other construction must be completed first before Zion can finish its work, timing starts upon completion of that work regardless of the reason or cause of the other work. Any days where the owner does not provide reasonable access, is not able to be contacted, initiates special requests such as an inspection or work is subject to weather related delays, these days will be subtracted from the day count.

Zion Outdoors provides the highest-quality products and is confident you will be delighted with the quality of its workmanship!

Residential: 8 year limited transferable warranty. Subject to the terms and conditions herein, this warranty is transferable to subsequent homeowners ofthe home where the products are installed. To transfer this warranty, the then-owner must, within 30 days of closing the sale, notify ZION of the name of the person assuming the rights under this warranty. Upon inspection of the products to the satisfaction of ZION or upon Zion’s waiver of such inspection, this warranty shall transfer to the subsequent homeowner.
Commercial: 1 year warranty.
Required Maintenance
Like most things in life, proper maintenance is required to keep your product looking and functioning well! Failure to follow the prescribed maintenance procedures linked HERE may void your warranty. Zion provides professional maintenance services or you may choose to do it yourself. Please call with questions…we are here for you!

Important Notes regarding our Guarantees
The Zion Outdoors G.E.M. Lifetime Guarantee, the Zion 110% Zero-Worry Pledge and our Hardscape Workmanship Warranty (non Gem-Scape™ products & services) are the only expressed guarantees provided by Zion Outdoors. Zion reserves the right to inspect products to verify eligibility. No employee, representative, or agent has the authority to extend guarantees beyond what is written here.
Zion Outdoors excludes and disclaims all other guarantees, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, habitability, and merchantability. In no event shall Zion Outdoors be liable for incidental, special, indirect, or consequential damages of any kind. Waiver of implied warranties may not apply in some states.
ZION HEREBY EXCLUDES AND DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BY WAY OF ILLUSTRATION AND NOT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OF FITNESS FOR PARTICULAR PURPOSE, HABITABILITY, AND MERCHANTABILITY. THE LIMITED WARRANTIES CONTAINED HEREIN SHALL BE IN LIEU OF ANY OTHER WARRANTY, WHETHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. Zion’s liability under this warranty is limited to the amounts received by ZION for services rendered under the sales contract. In no event shall ZION be obligated or liable for incidental, special, indirect, or consequential damages of any kind for the breach of any express or implied warranty. Waiver of implied warranties may not apply in some states.
